    Overnight Time Calculations (Access 2000)

I currently have a program running that is for patrol who begin work about 5PM in the evening and work straight through to around 7:00 AM the next morning. I want Access to calculate the number of hours/minutes worked based on a BegShift and an EndShift field. I cannot seem to figure out how to do this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

You didn't say how you were keeping the information. If it is in date fields that keep both date and time, then you can merely subtract the first date from the second date to the the elapsed time in decimal days ( .5 = 12 hours, etc.). You can then format the result using "hh:nn" to get result.
