    Deny Internet Access

I have three classrooms running Windows 2000 and using Nortel Network Switches and Routers. What I wish to do is to take the stations in each room and deny access to a station and/or the entire room at one time. I wish to have the teacher's station control the on or off for each room. Help

    Re: Deny Internet Access

You would need to set up the teacher's station as the gateway PC with the internet connection, and have the other machines point to that system's IP address as the gateway. To disable access to the Internet you could then stop the service, use a firewall such as Zonealarm, or do it any numbe of other ways.

    Good luck!
