    Backup-Skipped files

    I have a sudden problem after my latest backup. The message I get is ' The backup is completed but some files were skipped'
    A problem while backing up file C:\Users\user\contacts. Error : (The system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002). This error is
    shown twice.
    Is this serious and will it affect my back ups in any way? How can I resolve this problem?

    Please all help will be appreciated.

    I got that error when I defined folders to back up and later deleted one of the folders between backup operations. The only way I was able to eleiminate the error message was to respecify the folders to back up. Got tired of this and went to Acronis for my data backups and system images.

    Jerry many thanks for your reply. Being a pensioner, and living in South Africa the high exchange rate makes purchasing Arcronis very difficult.
    If I had to start backing up fresh from today on say a blank hard drive would I still get the same problem?

    Even a pensioner can afford EASEUS Todo Backup v.3.0 free; it seems to work well for both incremental & differential backup plans, and can be scheduled to run, including when the computer is on standby.
