Outlook 2010: Inserting email message as attachment

    Hi all,

Just wondering if this drives anyone else mad like it does me. In previous versions of Outlook, I used to be able to select an email message in the message list, then click the Edit menu and copy and then paste the message into another message as an email attachment. In Outlook 2010, the Edit menu is gone in favor of the Ribbon and so I have to do a clumsy drag/drop operation. Has anyone found a quicker method? The "Attach Item" command on the ribbon is not really useful as you have to scroll through a heap of messages to find the one you need...

    Thanks

    CK

    Hi,

If you right click the message while reading it, you can choose Copy. Then start the new message, and choose Paste. The copied message will be added as an attachment, as you want.

    Regards
