Wink Create new library - contents grouped by folder

    Hi All,

new to Win 7, so apologies for the simple question!

I created a new library called "Downloads". I added the "My Downloads" folder to this library and I can see the files within the folders fine.

However, this new library seems to be the only one which shows the folder name on the right hand side (see img). I can't figure out what is different about this library (or folder) which causes this and I'd like to get rid of it.

Not a major issue, obviously, but I'm curious!

    thanks
    Dom

Click on the "Arrange By" dropdown and choose something other than Folder.

Yes, I realise that this will get rid of that folder grouping.. however, all of my other libraries are also "Arranged by Folder", yet they do not show this folder grouping, even if there is more than one location associated to the library.

I don't understand why my new library is the only one which shows this folder grouping (circled in the image above).

I wonder if any of these sites will offer a suitable explanation of what's going on. There are times switching to a new oprating system with different archetecture can be perplexing.
