Need Help with a Index~Large~Row nested function

Okay... I have finally given up after 3 hours of trying to figure out what is wrong with my formula. I have a spreadsheet that I want to use to balance my checkbook. It is set up so that I know automatically when I can't reconcile. I am only having a problem with one formula that seemed to work fine when I only had one row on the top. Now that I added a few more rows....the darn formula won't work. Why??? I attached the sample excel file. See the formula in "I5". Any help would be appreciated. The answer should be $232.18.

    Thank you.

There are 2 problems. The first is that the 2 ranges in the IF are NOT the same size. Change the formula to:
    =INDEX($G$1:$G$19,LARGE(IF($G$8:$G$19<>"",ROW($G$8:$G$19)),1),1)

The 2nd problem is that the formula is an array and must be confirmed with ctrl-shift-enter

Thank you so much. I did not know about the ctrl-shift-enter. I would of been trying for another two hours. You are awesome!
