    Adobe Reader X

For pdf files already on my computer Adobe Reader X works fine, but only blanks occur from attachments in e-mails or on websites. Anyone help?

    Welcome to the Lounge?

Do you view email with a client program, such as Outlook or Thunderbird, or do you use a browser to view email?

Do this happen if you save the attachment first?

Adobe's browser plugins don't always work well; I tend to launch online PDFs in the stand-alone reader.

If you are using Firefox, check your setting here:

orange Firefox button or Tools menu > Options > Applications

Type pdf in the search box and pause while Firefox filters the list down to one or two items. Use the drop-down to experiment with other choices for opening PDFs; hopefully one of those will work better.

Seems my autoscan found a zombie and removed it. Works ok now either from a browser or Windows Mail. Thanks all for replies.
