    G/L database sample

    Has anyone got a sample G/L database i could get some ideas from, I need to write an Income/Expenditure report as well as a Balance Sheet report. So i need examples of tables as well, Chart of Accounts etc.

    A Google search brings up a couple, but it would be a lot easier (and cheaper) to just use MYOB or QuickBooks.

    Obviously, I don't know what you have in mind Patt, but in my experience everything involving money becomes complicated.

    A number of years ago I was asked to set up something to sell books, and handle the money. The client would not accept my suggestion that they just use MYOB. They only needed something simple.

    Every since I have been adding more in, because someone says "How do you...?" or "Why can't you...?"
