I installed the latest version of Exact Audio Copy (1.0 beta 3) and to my surprise the freedb CD database (which contains CD information such as artists and track names) has been replaced by a subscription service (Digital Data). The release notes claim that the old freedb is still available, but it doesn't appear in the menu when I select Database | Get CD Information From. Has anyone been able to restore the freedb option to the menu?

2011-10-01 08:08Go into EAC>Metadata options and access the Metadata Provider tag.
You will find a dropdown list that allows you to select alternatives.
