    Windows Live Mail Error

I can no longer send emails using Windows Live Mail with Windows 7 and receive Error ID: 0x800CCC78. When I try to download the fix for this error it says it is not compatible with Windows 7.
I have tried System Restore, uninstalled and reinstalled Live Mail but these did not solve the problem.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Are you sure you don't have any infections? It seems your problem has escalated in the last year since your first post. This does not appear to be a problem with WLM anymore. These escalations can often be indicative of virus infestation. I would start by booting to Safe Mode and running MalwareBytes anti-malware. What AV/AM app do you have and is it up to date? Do a complete manual scan in safe mode.
