    Change Incorrect Text Size

The text size on my laptop is insanely small. I just had a new hard drive installed and the installer left the resolution low and the screen looked distorted. I should have fixed the resolution first but instead I did something and messed up the text size. Now I cannot find the setting I changed. All I remember is that I was given several choices: smaller, small, medium, large and larger. It was a small box with a dot that moved next to your choice. This is not the Display box in the control panel that lets me choose between small and medium. It's also not the DPI setting either. This is what I get for doing too many things at once. Can anyone help me remember what I did and fix this? I feel like an idiot. I have Windows 7 Home Premium on a Gateway NV59C laptop.

You may have changed a setting in your video driver. If you can't find the setting, try a system restore to a date prior to the problem occurrence.

I just got the computer back yesterday after a hard drive crash. There's a new hard drive and a new copy of Windows 7 on the laptop. If I restore it,I'm afraid I will lose everything and I have NO clue as to how to restore all that without another expensive visit to the computer repair shop. I can't believe I did this, all I really needed was to set the screen resolution to the proper setting. I just cannot remember what I opened to reset the text size.
