    "Logging Off Screen

I rebuilt my hard drive from the bottom up, and NO I did not use an image that's a story for another day.... I am having a slight problem though that I can't figure out. For some reason I cannot get past the "Logging Out" screen. I've checked the power settings etc. and dont see anything out of the ordinary.

Sounds like some process is failing to close; try disabling all in msconfig to see if your computer will shut down properly. If so, then re-enable them one by one.

It could be that something did not load properly during your reinstall. Perhaps a Repair Install would find the culprit and fix it.

I had an old Dell that would never Restart. It would always hang up on the Shutdown. If I used Shutdown, it worked fine. Even a new OS did not fix it. Have no clue what was causing it.
