    Paste unformatted (2000)

In WOW 6.45 & 6.46 Woody gives a handy macro for pasting unformatted text in Word, Excel & PPT. Can this be done in FP as well?
eg when pasting html from a webpage in FPs html view it always puts & lt ; instead of <
    <img src=/S/help.gif border=0 alt=help width=23 height=15> <img src=/S/hairout.gif border=0 alt=hairout width=31 height=23>

I'm not sure I follow completely - but if you copy/paste from the web page itself, the text comes across correctly. If you copy/paste from the source, then it brings the tag.

    Hi,

thanks for your reply but you misunderstand.. the problem is copying html code that has been put on a web site, eg copy the script on <A target="_blank" HREF=http://builder.cnet.com/webbuilding/0-7690-8-7548895-1.html?tag=st.bl.3881.edt.7690-8-7548895-1>this page</A> and paste it into the "html view" in frontpage and see what happens to the tags...

    Open up Notepad
Copy the script and paste into Notepad
Copy from Notepad and paste into the HTML page.

Works in all sorts of applications - copying text from a Web page into Normal view etc. . . .

    thanks, that does what I need <img src=/S/thumbup.gif border=0 alt=thumbup width=15 height=15>, but I was hoping for a way to get Frontpage to do it automatically... <img src=/S/bash.gif border=0 alt=bash width=35 height=39>

Actually, I don't think the problem is FP's. By placing the info into Notepad and copying it back out again - you are changing what is in the clipboard. The problem is that FP is capable of handling all the info in memory - and does. Notepad can't so receives the minimal amount of info.

If any of that made sense...

I've found writing any kind of macro in FP to be hideously difficult, this is why my celebration <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.wopr.com/cgi-bin/w3t/showflat.pl?Cat=&Board=front&Number=86788&page=0&v iew=expanded&sb=5&o=0&fpart=>here </A>when I finally created something useful. The lack of useful documentation doesn't help much either.
