    Ribbon size

    Many ribbon-haters might profit from a single setting change that affects the size of the ribbon on the screen.

    Open an Office application, take a look at the ribbon to see the size and contents, and close the application. Right-click on the desktop, check Personalize, and in the lower left check Display. It may not show you all of them, but there are three settings: Smaller, Medium, and larger. Smaller, at 100%, is the default, but if you have anything else then I suggest you try ‘Smaller’. You have to log off to change it (the computer will do it for you), and when you log back on open the same application that you viewed before and see if you find the ribbon more to your liking. You can always go back, especially if you don’t like the other changes the setting has made, but I suspect that some users have giant ribbons which are driving them, well, to ribbon-hating.
