    Question Can't run Event Viewer Win 7 64bit ErrorMsg:MMC could not create the snapin

    Trying to open Event Viewer in Win 7 64 bit. Error Msg is (MMC could not create the snap-in).

    I have run a full virus scan - 0 problems.
    I have run scannow - some bad tracks but problem not resolved.
    I have searched the net and found different suggested solutions - to no avail.
    Microsoft is no big help either.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Try opening EV with firewall disabled.
