Possible to Share the .pst folder in a dual boot set up?

    I have a Win7 Ultimate/XP Prof (both 32 bit) dual boot system.
If I move the .pst folder to My Documents (on a separate HDD and available to both OSs) will it be possible for Outlook 2010 installed on both systems to "share" the file? That is, both instances of Outlook will be in sync so to speak.
    Thanks

    Clive,

Absolutely! I was doing that for a couple of years between Win 7 & XP. I first moved the .pst file to a different drive/partition with the rest of my Documents. Then when you install the second OS and Outlook you just point Outlook to the .pst to the copy you moved. I also move the .pst file from my desktop to my laptop when I travel then move it back {both simple copies} when I return and I never loose a beat.

Note: you do have to setup your email accounts in BOTH copies of outlook the same!
