How do I get rid of Windows 7 pop-up?

    Hi,

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate. Each time I open Internet Explorer 9, I get the following pop-up (see attachment) that appears at the bottom of the screen immediately above the task bar. How can I bock it?

    Thank you.

Select Choose Add ons, then either disable some of the add ons or change the time before pop up shows from what's listed to a higher number. IE tries to speed up the opening and surfing experience as this seems to be in demand these days, but each add on will increase the time it takes IE to open.

edit: sorry about the confusion on my terminology. When the pop up shows up, near the bottom you will see a time listed. If you change the time to a number higher than the total of the add ons, the pop up will not show up again.

When the message is displayed, click on "Choose addons". Another windows opens listing the addons. At the bottom of that second window is the time to which Ted refers.

Thanks Ted and Joe for your responses. I did what you suggested and the pop-up has not returned.

This thread was resolved to the OP's satisfaction 4 days ago, why have you added a totally irrelevant reply?
