Re-use MSDN Win7 .iso for image deployments?

Q: We need to roll out Win7 images using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2010 (MDT 2010), but our PCs are all OEM builds - so no media. Can we get a single Win7.iso (w/SP1) from MSDN and use it to roll-out our customized Win7 replacements-for-WinXP-PCs using a different Product Key for each one?

(BACKGROUND: Our OEMs are (now) Windows 7, but the manual process to add out apps, change settings, etc. takes about 3.5-4 hours. Despite checklists, variances occur. My thought is to use the Windows Product Key off the sticker on the PC case. That way it ought to be legal to re-use the MSDN .iso throughout the process [about 500+ PC's to retire and replace with Win7 in the next few years.])

The Windows keys are compatible with a given windows version, so as long as your keys match the windows version, you will have no issues.

You do not mention where you are getting the iso image so might I suggest downloading the official Win 7 iso image including SP1 directly from Digital River.

We're thinking of getting it frm MSDN. Never heard of Digital River; I'll pass it to my supervisor for his approval.

I recommend if you have access to MSDN use it. While Digital River is a reputable firm you can always be sure what you are downloading from MSDN.
