    Outlook message problem

Recently when I try to paste a jpg picture to an Outlook msg text portion. It goes in as an attachment. What happened? How can I get the feature back so I can paste into the text portion?
I have checked and the format is HTML. Also how to get rid of red X's? This is very annoying and I would forego all security to get rid of?
I am running Win 7/64 and Office 2007

I find that the pasting result varies depending on how you did the copy. If you copy it from Windows Explorer, it will always be pasted as an attachment. If you open Paint, Select the image and copy it, it will be pasted inline.

If picking the image from a file, using Insert Picture will always work.

I would advise adding each sender to the safe senders list will solve the red X's issue. After doing this for a while, you should find that most pictures will display automatically.
