Action Center keeps telling me that I'm missing a raid driver

I have installed the Intel storage driver it points me to a few times. Right now the message is gone but I expect it to come back yet again. This system recently got rebuilt by HP - it's a DV9933CL with T8100. HP replaced the mobo, the primary HD, and put Vista back on. I reinstalled Win 7 Home Premium, got through an activation problem, and installed a 2nd HD in the empty bay.

Assuming you aren't running Raid, you can disable this alert by clicking on the "archive this message" link in the page that opens when you click on the alert.

I'm not running raid. But I'd love to know what is behind the message. Thanks!

Even though you are not using it, you probably have a Raid controller chip on your motherboard. You could check to see if HP has any Windows 7 chipset drivers butif you aren't planning on using RAID, I wouldn't worry about it.
