Wirelessly networking 2 desktops and 2 laptops
I am a neophyte when it comes to networking. Please tell me what I require to network wirelessly 2 desktops and 2 laptops, all running Windows 7 or Linux. Money is not really an issue but I want it done right the first time. Better to hire this out or is it something I can do myself?
Thanks for your insights and detailed explanations.

Dick, welcome to the Lounge, enjoy your stay and come back often.
See if any of the articles found with this Google search help.
I have a Linksys E4200 router and connect either wired through ethernet or wireless. This is a dual band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) wireless N router. It can generally be found for less than the Cisco store is selling it for. This router connects to both bands simulataneously. The 2.4 GHz band is getting busy, but the 5.0 GHz band is wide open in most areas. You might want to check out numerous discussions in the Networking forum.
Note: Mod or admin, this night be better seen in the Networking forum.
