Adding a new email address to favorites?

I've set up a new email address in Outlook 2010. The new account is working and I can send and receive, however the new address is not showing up in the pane that shows you have a new message in the "Inbox". I want to add this to the favorites also.
I'm thinking this should take place automatically and I may just need to delete the address and start over...........any thoughts?

In the navigation pane, right click on the folder and select "Show in favorites".

That's the problem. There's no new address to click on.
That's what's so strange. The new email is operational, it just not show anywhere or where my other email accounts are listed.

Can you post a picture of your navigation pane? Be sure to obscure the email addresses.

Which account type is it: POP3, IMAP or Exchange? IMAP accounts always have an independent set of folders, and their own Inbox, but other account types might simply share the existing Inbox.

Joe, I don't know how to obscure the addresses when sending the pane.

RESOLVED - I just located the new email address in a deleted file folder in my main personal email account. I better start watching what the heck I'm doing.
    Thanks for the help, John
