    Cloud Storage+Transfer

Looking for suggestions: I have to run on 7, Vista and XP depending on where I work.

What is the best alternative to Windows Live Mesh, since it doesn't work on XP?

CrashPlan has a free component for home users so you may not qualify if working in any traditional business environment. I don' t think it is synchronous like Mesh but it is unlimited.

Otherwise, in addition to dropbox a similar service to check out is box.net.

I have used DropBox, and should have said that I was looking for something different, due to the security problems it had this past summer.

I will check out box.net and CrashPlan.

I have used LogMeIn, but not RemoteAccess. These are really useful, but overkill for mere file transfer.

If you are looking to share documents and not necessarily have a copy on each machine check out SkyDrive. It is free and 25GB.

I've used www.box.net for years and I find the FREE version more than just satisfactory.
They also send me a daily report of what files were downloaded.

    Cheers Mates and Happy Holidays!
