    Transferring Mail in Windows Mail

What is the correct way to transfer mail back to Windows Mail? For example. When I back up Windows Mail I copy the entire Windows Mail Folder to my back up hard drive. Now, when I import mail, I go to that folder, I end up with many folders and I have to move the files ( individual emails ) to separate folders I have created in Windows Mail for organization purposes. That means: family, friends, work, etc.., etc...... Where are you Fred?

    Hi kbbj,
click file > import, locate your file and follow instructions. They should be in your storage folders.

Fred Langa doesn't typically respond to thread posts.
Use the import/export function. Using copy and paste complicates things more than anything.
