    Unwanted Old entries in MSconfig

Problem is solved. CCleaner Tools-> Startup

I see old entries totally irrelevant and unnecessary Win 7 in when I open MSconfig.

I heard there was a way to get rid of these via CCleaner?......Could anyone give me the details? Is CCLeaner the way?

    Thanks so much.

Get a tool such as Autoruns or WhatInStartup. Then re-enable the the old entries using MsConfig. Use your new tool to remove the entries.

Thanks Joe: but I can re-enable the old entries just by placing a checkmark in the box within MsConfig......don't have to
have anything else to do it.....! just my mouse! All disabled items are still listed, but when the box on the left has the checks
taken out, the box is stil in there; but blank.

Perhaps you should read Joe's answer again after downloading one of those tools he mentioned.
