    Windows.old files

    Is it safe to delete (windows.old ) files.

    It is safe, as long as you decide you need no data that is kept there. This means your current Windows installation won't be affected. You will be the one who may lose data. If you think there is nothing there you want, just go ahead and delete it.

    I agree with ruirib, look closely at it, take what you need and then delete it.
