    IF Statement for Bookmark Value

Hi, I have a word document that is produced from a computer database program we have.

The program exports to a word document using bookmarks.

The value of one of these bookmarks are peoples names as to who clicked the button to generate the word document.

I want to be able to display that persons direct telephone number based upon the value of the bookmark Signature

I have the following after pressing Shift+F9

    Best Regards,

Does that work for one name, and you need to expand the list? Or does it not work at all?

It seems it would be better to include the specific number in the data source, rather than having to embed your entire phone directory in each document...

    Hi Luke,

That would only be possible if you had a separate IF test, with a hard-coded phone number, for each potential document producer. In the long term, that could be a nightmare to maintain.
