    deleted folder (2000 w/o SR)

I accidently deleted a folder with about 80 saved messages in it (I meant to delete just 1 msg. but the didn't notice the folder was selected instead). I can't undo it, and can't find the deleted folder and its contents in the deleted items folder. Does anyone know a way I can get it back? (I don't have a recent backup.) Thanks!

did you empty the deleted items folder or hold shift when you deleted it? if yes, there is no recovery.

are you on an exchange server? you might have a chance, if the admin set up deleted items recovery.

I did not hold down shift and have not emptied the deleted items folder -- but I can't find the folder that was deleted or any of its msgs. I'm not on exchange server -- it's a stand alone PC. Any thoughts?? Thanks.

do you have more than one pst and are you looking in the right one?

are you sure you deleted it and didn't move it?

what steps did you take when you deleted it?

OK, I found it -- thanks. (The + sign was hidden because there wasn't room for the folder names in the tiny column MS gives you -- so I couldn't tell that Deleted Items had any subdiers.)
