WiFi with Kindle Fire
The Kindle tech support forum is full of requests for help with similar issues but I hope someone here can help. My local phone company recently went to fiber optic system that provides 20MB internet service. My TVs and DVRs are hardwired. My desktop, three laptops, two smartphones and a Wii game machine with Netflix all work fine. My WiFi connection to the Kindle Fire is very undependable. If I reboot the router or change wireless channels (switching between 1 and 11) on the router I can connect the Fire with no problem. If the Fire goes to sleep or is turned off, it can't find an IP address. Any suggestions are appreciated.
