    Sudden failure of WPA2 connectivity.

    Greetings -

I have an XP machine on a small home network that is wpa2 protected.. There are a total of five PCs of various types that are all working just fine, but for some reason one of the 'original' group has stopped working. I can connect to a nearby 'open' network with no difficulty.

I have tried the 'netsh ip reset' to no avail. IPCONFIG/renew returns 'Media not Available' or similar.

    Ideas??

    Garey,

The 1st thing I would try would be to go to either the Wi-Fi or machine manufactures website and download the latest drivers for your wireless card. Then uninstall the card and when windows re-detects the card point the hardware wizard to the new drivers.
