    Saving calender entries to file

The other day I received a file from a friend containing all the public and religious holidays in South Africa. This was a great help and saved a lot of time. How do I create such a file? If I have a lot af entries in my calender that I want to share with other people, how do I create a file that will contain only those entries?

    Stumped?

I can't believe no one has an answer (or an opinion) ! Is the question clear enough or must I elaborate?

Outlook allows you to share a calendar by email but I see no options to save it to a file. Not sure if there are any add ins to do that.

P.S.: Here is one such add-in, but it is not free.

You can export the Calendar. You should be able to apply a filter to the exported file to get only items categorized as Holidays. The way to get to the export dialog depends on the version of Outlook.

Thanks guys. You have nudged me in a good direction. I will play around with the export function and probably get the correct solution there.
