    Multiple Condition Formulas - Excel 2003

    I have used the SUMIFs function in Excel 2010 to grab semi-annual and annual data (from a balance sheet) and put it into an annual format. Because it's a balance sheet, I only want to report annual balances at the end of each year. The formulas in the atttached example work fine for both semi-annual and annual data.

    I now need to convert my file back to Excel 2003, and I'm stumped. Can anyone help with a getaround? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    You can't use SUMIFS(..) in Excel2003.

    Use an array formula instead:
    {=SUM(($B$2:$H$2=B7)*($B$3:$H$3=1)*($B$4:$H$4))}

    ..gives the same results. (remember to use [Ctrl][Shift][Enter] when entering array formula)
