    The NEW and improved SkyDrive

I'll start off by saying that I like the changes that were made to SkyDrive. They (Microsoft) at least brought back the the amount of space indicator. The fact that I can now share a single document is also nice. But why did they not do that with photos, videos, or mp3's?
Here is what I am seeing. When I shared a music video, an mp3, and a photo, everything went to the recipeint ok, but! When I opened the link to the music video, the entire folder was there. When I shared an mp3, the same thing happened. When I shared a photo, the photo was embedded in the e-mail and I was given 2 choices. The first choice was to view the photo, so I clicked on that and again, the contents of the entire folder showed up in slideshow view. When I clicked on Download however it downloaded just the photo that I had shared.
Now at this point I'm getting nervous about using this to share to Facebook so I decided to try that. I chose a photo, and shared it to Facebook. When I looked in Facebook, the photo was there. I moused over the photo and clicked on it, and lo and behold, again the entire folder was shared. I've posted this to Microsoft to see what they have to say.

thanks for letting rant on this!

Thanks, John, for posting about this. I too use SkyDrive, though up til now I've used it just as a backup for a large number of photos and other files. I haven't tried sharing any, but I'm glad to have this heads up about what might happen if I did.

Here is a link to SDExplorer, that I find invaluable in transferring files to SkyDrive. Someone here in the lounge first told me about it. there is a free version, but once you try it I think you will opt for the full monte.
    Thanks John
