    Create/Edit Report in mde/accde

Is there a way using vba, to create or edit a report in a .mde or .accde database? I'm getting a "command not available" (#7802) when I attempt to open via vba a report in edit mode.

    Thanks,
    Marty

I think the point of using an mde/accde is precisely that - no changing of objects or code. So, the answer is no, I don't think there is a way to do that.

You are absolutely correct - compiled versions of Access databases do not allow design changes. One option to consider is the use of filters or criteria in constructing reports, which we use extensively.
