    Outlook Email Body Font Size Problem on Send and Reply

    Outlook Email Body Font Size Problem on Send and Reply

    I’m using:

    Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 (12.0.6607.1000) SPS MSO (12.0.6607.1000)
    Windows 7 Ultimate SP1

    Email was working OK until yesterday

    All of a sudden when I do a reply or send a new email the font size I type in the body of email I’m guessing is .01, it is so small (as demonstrated below ------) you can’t read it

    From:, To: and Subject: is OK (Arial .10)

    ==================================================
    From: Support4John@aol.com OK
    To: Support4John@aol.com OK
    Subject: Font Size Problem on Send and Reply OK

    Body: ----------------------------------- small font

    ==================================================

    If I open the email in question on another computer (using same Outlook and Windows) the Body: is OK, Font: .10

    I checked Tools, Option, Mail Format, Signatures & Stationary, Personal Stationary, New & Replat Font is set at:

    Font: +Body
    Size: 10

    Any ideas how to correct body of email font size?

    Outlook font size
    Did something to Outlook that has changed the font to miniscule font that is unreadable when replying to an email. Can't seem to find how to change it to the standard. Tried uninstalling outlook and then re-installing but that did not work.

    Any ideas would be great. thanks

    Check your settings at File | Options | Mail | Stationery and Fonts.

    In Tools options Mail Format Message Format, is HTML set?
    You could also try a System Restore to a date prior to the change in case a registry setting got screwed up.

    Thanks for the feedback

    Mail Format Message Format, is HTML

    System restore is not an option at this point

    Anyone else with suggestions?

    AFTER FURTHER REVIEW:

    My Zoom some how got to 20%, put it back to 100%, all is OK, Microsoft Support had the following fix:

    font is small when forwarding or replying to emails

    • The problem is rarely the font that is assigned for replies - its almost always the zoom setting. Hold Ctrl and scroll your mouse wheel to change it or look for the zoom button or command on the toolbar or ribbon. Screenshot for Outlook 2007/2010:http://slipstick.me/jing/zoom.png
    • ETA: try the View menu in Outlook 2003 and older - Zoom should be at the bottom.
