    Question Inserting Word Art 2010

I'm sure all of you remember the Word Art insertion choices in 2003, this does not exist in 2010 UNLESS I open a 2003 document in 2010. This opens in Compatability Mode. If old style Word Art exists in this document, the double clicking on it opens up new Tabs such as Word Art Format tools which display all the old styles. No where can I find tese Tabs in a normal new 2010 document. They must be there somewhere

See if the discussion at Old Style Word Art in Word 2010 helps.

First, the discussion Joe referred you to covers this in depth.
Briefly, the only way to get this is in a .doc file in Compatibility mode. If saving your current document in that mode will cause you problems, you can create a new document in Compatibility mode, create or edit your Word Art in that document, then copy and paste back to your new format document. A pain, but it works.

Yes, the old methods should just be available from the Ribbon. They are not. Don't know if anyone has worked on a Ribbon customization to pull those tools to the front or if it is even possible.
