Hi Windows XP & 7 Guru,

Do you have any idea of the steps to nail the culprit of Blue Screen of Death i.e. BSoD in Windows XP & 7? What software tools do I need to conduct an analysis of the dump file created by the OS?

Which OS is giving you the BSOD? (XP or 7)
What are you doing when that happens?
What are the error codes printed on the screen in the BSOD?

If you're getting BSOD's in both XP and Win-7, then it's doubtful that the problem is actually
in either of your OS's, but some hardware failure.

It could be anything, from a bad power supply to dirty ram. Only a thorough inspection of
that computer, (by an experienced technician) would find the problem.

First thing I would do is run a good stand alone virus scan in safe mode. Such as SuperAntiSpyware Standalone.
