Got it loaded on my Win 7 64Bit laptop and all seems well, as well as faster!
Only one addon was disabled and it isn't a critical one.

Retired Geek, thanks for reporting your success. I'd really appreciate it, though, if you and others reporting on their experience with new versions of Firefox would specify which add-ons didn't work. Add-on compatibility is the main reason I hold off on upgrading (I've turned off the option to check for new FF versions to prevent Mozilla from automatically downloading or even continually bugging me about updates). Thus, I find it really helpful to know what add-ons work or fail to work, so I know when it's safe to upgrade.

Be glad to. The only thing that was disabled was Logitech Detection Device. I don't even know what it does as it was installed automatically somewhere along the line. I do have a Logitech wireless Kbd/Mouse combo but they are both working just fine so I'm not sure what this addon does and haven't gotten around to checking.

HI RG,

Last FF upgrade from 8.0 to 8.0.1 only worked on my L/top, Desktop would not even do it manually. This time 2 out of 2.
I use a Logitech cordless mouse on each pc, they both run without adding drivers.

I updated from 8 whatever to 9 last week and it said my Kaspersky Anti-Banner, URL-Advisor, and Virtual keyboard were incompatible with 9.0 and disabled them. I then closed FF ran CrapCleaner restarted and the Kaspersky icons were still on the toolbar and when I clicked on any of them it froze FF and I had to use my Process Hacker to close FF. After rebooting the same issue was still there. The next day 9.01 was released and the icons were removed this time and FF9.01 is functioning well. So until Kaspersky does their hotfix these add-ons will remain disabled.

Good idea as Firefox does get to be a pain in the butt, I can check myself.
