    Un-attaching attachments (2000)

    OK, further to my earlier message (down a couple of pages), I cannot actually get the macro to do what I want!

    To summarise, my email arrives as an attached message due to the way that our off-site email works. I can manually drag these attachments from the message to the inbox folder, and they look like they arrived normally.
    How can I automate this?

    Richard, there are a number of inexpensive Add-Ins that do this sort of thing. See www.slipstick.com and take your pick. I personally feel this sort of thing is best done at the application level, handled as a COM. Why reinvent the wheel?
