    E-Sword

    Hello all,
For those of you who like to read and study the Bible (both "old" & "new")...There is a very good free program i found called E-Sword Has many Versions available, and a lot of tools ... Also a complete concordance (Strong's) that will give both the Hebrew\ Aramaic and Greek words and definitions ... Regards Fred

Thanks, it looks like E-Sword has come quite away since I switched to Laridian ($ but well worth it) several years ago.
    (Edit)
The reason I switched is I wanted one that I could use on the PC & Blackberry with one purchase. Since then they have allowed me to use the same books on my iPad without additional purchases. There are other very good ones available online now, such as YouVersion.

I too have been using the program for 10 years now. It is a very good one for Bible Study and of course the price is right. They have added much to this program over the years as well. I'm glad that this program has gotten known, although the email lists that used to be available for it on Yahoo, have now been shut down.
