Anybody familiar with Windows Media Player - quick question?

I've been using Winamp for yearrs for my rock music etc., but NOT any classical music - I recently started using WMP for this. One thing I can do with Winamp, is pause any music playing by hitting a couple of hotkeys., eg, if the phone goes., WHATEVER application I'm in.

Is there any way of doing something similar in WMP or will I always have to return to that application? (There probably is but I'm not familiar enugh with WMP.)

    Thanks.

    Bodger,

Here's a list of the Hot Keys for WMP. It doesn't appear that you can do it w/o returning to the application.
A work around that works is to place WMP on the task bar as the 1st {left most} icon. then WinKey+1, Ctrl+P will pause it fairly quickly.

WMP hotkeys only work inside the app, so you'd need to bring it up front and then use the Ctrl+P to play or pause WMP. Of course, you could probably use something like AutoHotKey to have the result you want.
