    sfc\scannow question

My OS is Win 7 Pro 32 bit with SP1 and all updates installed.

If I run sfc\scannow is there any chance that it will replace files altered by SP1 with pre SP1 versions?

    Advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks and regards,Roy

I would expect the correct versions to be used.

SP1 updates the dll cache, etc. so that when you run sfc /scannow, only the latest versions of Windows files are used.
Create a fresh drive image before making system changes, in case you need to start over!
