    Multiple users, same user form

    Howdy,

I'm using Word 97 to do some text inserts. Essentially my users fill in some items on a user form in vba. When they click Next the text is inserted into the document and they proceed to the next form. Unfortunately I've just learned (the hard way) that if two users are in the form at the same time, only one can click next and proceed. The other user clicks Next and the second form never shows up.

Due to other constraints, everyone must use the same copy, or I'd just put multiple copies in separate folders. A friend suggested an Auto_Open macro that makes someone wait until the first user is done, but I'm not sure how to do that.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

The proper way to do this would be to set up a template. Then each user will always create a new separate document from the template. Is that feasible in your situation?
