AutoCorrect cc: auto capitalization work around
Since I've had Word (Word 3.0) I've been annoyed that if I left auto capitalization of sentences on in AutoCorrect options and I wanted a copy of a letter sent when I type cc: I get Cc:
I then press Ctrl-Z to unfix the fix.
I could type CC: instead and this will get by AutoCorrect. I cannot add a capitalization exception for cc or cc: because it is too short.
What I've done instead is make an AC entry that replaces cc. with cc:
I guess #cc or ;cc could be used as triggers as well. I just know it works and think I'll find typing cc. less annoying than having to interrupt my typing to press Ctrl-Z.
Thought I would share this minor victory.Charles Kyle Kenyon
