    IRS Refund

I got the following email with an ATTACHED FILE named Tax_Refund.ZIP.....

    They never give up...

    Tax Refund,

The analysis of the last annual calculations of your fiscal activity has indicated that
you are entitled to receive a tax refund of $115.25
Please submit a request of the tax refund and a processing of the request will take 7-14 days.
A tax refund can be delayed by different reasons.
For instance submission of invalid records or sending after the deadline.

Please find the form of your tax refund attached and fill out it and send a report.

    Regards,
    IRS.

I know. I just sent an email to my family about it. Each year these people seem to start these scams again. Be safe!

We get exactly the same thing (but in sterling from HMRC) here in the UK. It's an obvious fake since we don't have our "fiscal activity" (whatever that is) calculated. Tax is based on income, not fiscal activity!

Well, I saved the file and scanned it with MSE and it showed nothing harmful.
The I updated MSE from yesterdays definitions to todays definitions and it showed it as an infected file..

This one must be pretty new because it wasn't picked up with yesterdays definition file in MSE
