second laptop to use 3G dongle on first laptop to connect to internet

Not sure if this is right place for this question.
My sister uses a laptop at home using a 3G dongle to connect to internet (on contract not P.A.G)as she does not have a telephone line or router.
Her son has a laptop also and I was wondering if there was a way to get his laptop to connect to internet through the first computer sharing the dongle connection.
I suspect even if it is possible it may be slow if both are using at same time but may be fast enough for their low requirements.

See if Using Internet Connection Sharing helps. Even though the article was written for Vista the procedure should be the same for Windows 7.

Thanks for the info. But it would not create a wireless network connection. I believe that option is only available in win7 Pro and up. Even Connectify could not create the connection. But I could be wrong.

If you don't have a router, maybe you could share the connection by creating an ad-hoc wireless network.

Have tried both of them it goes through all stages then comes up cannot create wireless network adaptor.

Have now decided it better to get a 3G router and ordered one from amazon (not very expensive if works. This should allow me to connect the dongle to the router and connect via WI-FI the two laptops. (Hopefully)

Thanks to everyone for there helpful advise. but will wait now to see if this new router does what it claims.
