    word 2010 display prob

I've recently installed Word 2010 in a Win7 laptop. Some of the configuration pages do not get drawn on the screen. For instance, when I want to configure a font, the dialog page opens, but none of the text or config. options appear. If I click inside the dialog bog, sometimes the text will then appear. Word is the only software in this problem appears.

    Ideas??

This may be due to your laptop's display driver. Check both the laptop maker's website and the display card maker's website for an updated driver.

I have the latest drivers installed. Similar problems exist on other pages such as the one used to modify a style.

In that case, you may have a faulty Word installation. Try the approaches suggested here:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/921541
    http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...artingWord.htm and
    http://windowssecrets.com/forums/sho...hp/32641/page2
for various troubleshooting steps that will help you track down (and hopefully solve) the problem.
