    lsass.exe Object name not found

At startup I get a System Error: lsass.exe Object name not found. If I ignore it and wait my system boots and then I click "OK" to close the error message. I have run a deep scan and found no malware. I searched the web and one suggestion was to search the registry and remove all references to lsass.exe. Can anybody confirm this or offer another solution? Thanks.

    sailfree,
Hello... I would run another scan using another program in "Safe Mode". As far as i can find the "Isass" file is part of windows , but can be compromised by a Trojan \ virus.

2.Emsisoft Emergency Kit Also free Kit

PS: "messing" with your Registry without a "Image backup" is asking for trouble at this point... Unless your sure of what your doing.

Try a System Restore to a datet prior to the issue if you have one.
