    Backup did not complete 0x8100002F

Attempted backup failed with the following message: "Windows Backup did not complete successfully. The backup completed but some files were skipped." Under options>view skipped files: "Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C;\windows\system32\config\system profile\TEMP ((the system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002))." From my search the file apparently does not exist.

What to do? Can I just skip it? If not, I need to get past this glitch to backup/image the files. I am a long-time computer user but long since left behind the in the tech curve - so dumb the answer down please.

System: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit, Service Pack 1 running on Acer Aspire notebook Pentium dual-core 2.20 GHz - 3 GB. Saving files to Seagate Free Agent USB hard drive. 250 GB (Backup to be saved is much smaller - plenty of room).

Thanks for any help, I'm stymied.

I've seen that error when a Windows Backup was set to backup a set of defined files and folders and one of the files was deleted between backups. The only solution I've found was to redefine the backup set.
