    Forced close in Outlook

Windows Home Premium 7, Outlook 2010.

This program is on both my Desk Top and my Lap Top. This problem occurs only on the Desk Top. Most of the time when I attempt to send to multiple (somewhere around 20 or more but it varies) recipents with either Forward or New email, as soon as I hit Send I get a message that Outlook must close. It then closes and then reopens. This does not happen with Windows Live Mail, or as I said, on the Lap Top. I've looked at all the settings and see nothing. I even uninstalled Office 2010 and reinstalled and it didn't fix the problem. This is not the message that Outlook can sent to multiple recipients and isn't due to any limitations anywhere, since I have no problem with Live Mail or the Lap Top. Anyone have the same problem and/or a fix for it?

Is Outlook up to date with patches and services packs?
Have you tried an Office repair?
Have you looked in Event Viewer to see if there are any error messages left by Outlook?

Yes, Yes, didn't see anything that looked applicable. Doesn't happen everytime.

When you de-installed Office, did you clean the registry? (Like Frd Langa, here at WS, I follow his recommendation for Macecraft's JV16 Tools to clean the registry. I would leave it set to its default values. It's availalbe for a free 60 day trial. And no, I don't work for Macecraft.

After running JV16 Tools, I'd go through the registry manually, deleting all Outlook keys and values. It's a tedious PITA, but it might solve your problem. Just make sure you back up the registry first.

Have you contacted MS Tech support? Sometimes--depends on your level of frustration--it makes sense to pay for support.

Try starting Outlook in safe mode and see if it helps.

If ruirib's suggestion works, I'd suspect the Norton add-in.

I re-uninstall Office, cleaned the registry with CCleaner and then manually and then re-installed Office. I've tried one forward and it worked ok. Will be gone most of tomorrow but will see what all I forward tomorrow night for further testing. I appreciate all the suggestions.
Will keep safe mode and Norton addin in mind.
